Are you wondering what Desire' is up to now? Well, just let me just say not sleeping gives me extra time to get myself into crazy, fun adventures!!!
Yep, I stumbled across the Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign via a late not stroll down Facebook lane. Little did I know a year after first stumbling across the page that I would be picking up the torch, or in this case my red lipstick for a very personal cause, Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
If you didn't know I have MS, surprise! You have been living under a rock :-) I have tried to be active at the local and national level when it comes to raising money to fund further MS research, but life has caused me to see things on a more global level. A cross continent relationship does that to you.
I am fortunate to live in a place where I have access to healthcare and medications that have not only allowed by early and swift MS diagnosis but has also allowed me to have access to medications that help me continue to level a fairly normal life. But this is not the case for everyone.
The Kiss Goodbye to MS is all about uniting with each other across countries and oceans to show strength in numbers to fund MS research and to one day be able to Kiss MS Goodbye completely.
Join me in this month-long journey to show the world that those of us with MS are not alone and we are prepared to stand up and speak out. I am going to need you to get your red lipstick out and keep it close because we are about to get our game face on!
